Fire Fone: Ready for Sale
One of the few positive emails from the App Store, FireFone 2.0 has been published. I have to say I am impressed at the quick turnaround, I submitted the app Monday night, hopefully it stays this way.
So what is new in V2.0:
- Twitter Support: You can now post your location to Twitter when you update Fire Eagle. You have the option of Updating Location and Posting a tweet, or just Updating your location. You can also use the Fire Eagle “Friendly Name” or just post lat,long.
- Interactive Map: One of the biggest complaints with V1.0 was that the map was just an image. If you have an iPhone, you expect to be able to pan, scroll, zoom, etc… with everything, and now you can!
